Knowledgeable, Friendly Dental Care

Receptionist greeting new patient

Our friendly staff will give you a warm welcome.

From the moment you first walk through our doors, you will be greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. We strive to create a relaxed, pleasant environment where you can feel at home while receiving your dental care. Our office staff will get to know you by name and we will do our best to make you feel comfortable at all times during your visit.

Dr. Field is very personable and easy to talk to, and he will really listen to your concerns. He is known for treating patients with gentleness and for helping them overcome any fear or anxiety that might have prevented them from seeking dental treatment in the past.

Dr. Field is a highly knowledgeable and experienced dentist who attends advanced continuing education classes each year to keep up with the latest technology and procedures. Calling upon his extensive training and experience, he will lay out all of the treatment options that will address your situation, and he can design your treatment to be performed in several stages if that is more convenient for you.

New Patient Exam

Your New Patient Exam will include the following:

Dr. Field will take the time to find out about your dental concerns and any goals you may have for your smile. He is a good listener and it is very important to him that he fully understands the reason for your visit and your long-term dental goals.

Digital X-rays

When necessary, we’ll take advanced, digital panoramic X-rays that provide an comprehensive view of your entire mouth.

We will take any needed digital X-rays. Digital X-rays are highly accurate and they are safer, exposing patients to 80 percent less radiation than traditional film X-rays.

Digital panoramic X-rays

Digital panoramic X-rays may be taken in cases where a comprehensive overview of your mouth, teeth and jaw is needed for diagnosis.

Intraoral camera

Dr. Field uses a special camera to show you what is going on inside of your mouth. He will also use it to take photos of the interior (intraoral) surfaces of your mouth for diagnosis.

Digital photos

We use digital photos of your smile in planning any cosmetic treatment.

If you are considering a smile makeover, Dr. Field will take digital photos of your smile using special camera lenses made for dentistry.

Oral exam

Dr. Field will perform a comprehensive oral exam to check the condition of your mouth, gums and teeth, including your past dental work, and will look for any problem areas. He will gently probe your gum pockets to check for signs of gum disease. We will set aside an hour for your exam to make sure it is detailed and thorough.

Digital impressions of your teeth

If you need any dental restorations (such as crowns), we will take impressions of your teeth with our digital scanner. Our radiation-free, digital impression technology is light-years beyond traditional goopy, uncomfortable physical impressions which commonly have distortions no matter how skillfully the impression is taken. Digital impression scans are much faster, more accurate and far more comfortable for patients. They remove all distortions and make it possible for Dr. Field to precisely design your restorations so they will look natural and be well-fitting.

Comprehensive treatment options

Dr. Fiend with patient

Dr. Field will present the findings of his exam in detail and go over all your treatment options with you.

Dr. Field will discuss his findings with you, using your X-ray and photographic images so you gain a visual understanding of what he is talking about. He invites you to ask questions, and he will take care to answer them all. Dr. Field is known to be honest and will never recommend unnecessary dental work. He respects his patients and honors the loyalty and trust they place in him.

Dr. Field will explain all treatment options that are available to address your situation. He will let you know his top recommendations and will help you decide on a treatment plan that fits your circumstances and budget. Depending on how extensive your dental work will be, he can work out a treatment plan that you can do in stages rather than all at once.
